The Perfect Afternoon Pick-Me-Up!

Time for an afternoon pick-me-up! Do you ever experience that afternoon lull? Whenever I do, I usually reach for a @justaddwaterinc packet 💧for a caffeine-free energy boost, or I’ll have a matcha latte if I’m craving something warm and toasty.

Here’s my easy recipe below:


  • 1 1/2 tsp of matcha powder (I use organic ceremonial grade)

  • 1 TB warm water 🍵1 1/2 C hot/very warm nut milk (I use fresh pressed & organic)

  • Dash of cinnamon (to taste)

  • Pinch of stevia or preferred sweetener (to taste)


  • Gently sift the matcha into a cup.

  • Add the TB of water and whisk or blend until no lumps or a light creamy froth.

  • Add stevia or sweetener and cinnamon.

  • Whisk in the warmed nut milk. 

  • Serve!

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 TB of coconut butter 

  • 1/4 tsp of maca 

  • 1 small scoop of vegan or regular collagen
